I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life - John 14:1-14

READ JOHN 1:1-14

Jesus, you are the way. Eternal life does not come from following you; it comes from being united with you. I often, however, am tempted to think too highly of myself, as if I contribute something to my salvation – I’m sorry. I don’t want to diminish the power of your grace. Thank you Jesus, for your kindness to me even when I don’t give you the glory you deserve. Please give me a bigger vision of my helplessness and your love for me. I want to worship you as I should. Amen

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. - Psalm 43:5

“I am the way,” he says, so that the power of demons may not prevail in impeding those coming to the way through the Way, to God through God. It is not possible to attain to God except through God. – Peter Chrysologus

When afraid, we really can rest in knowing that Jesus will care for us
